Cleo Risser completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College in 1999. She began working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Intern in 2002 and earned a CDMS in 2005. Cleo completed a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western WA University in 2008 and obtained a CRC. Cleo has experience with Forensic Vocational work, Expert Witness testimony and vocational evaluation. In 2014, Cleo started Ability Vocational Consulting with her three business partners and her role has expanded to include that of a Supervisor/Manager/Trainer. Cleo also completed the Professional Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) certification and is an Activity Coach. With her background in rehabilitation counseling and many years of experience serving as a state fund WA worker’s compensation Vocational Counselor, she enjoys resolving complex cases with the most appropriate, ethical and solid outcome possible. In her spare time, Cleo enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active outdoors, camping, hiking, boating, and skiing and supporting her children in their various athletic endeavors. Cleo serves Thurston, Pierce, and King Counties.
